Feels Like She's Been Here Forever

Zooey had her sixth month checkup last Monday and now weighs 14 lbs. 14 oz. and is almost 27" long. The big news is that her two bottom teeth have appeared! We got the go ahead to use a sippy cup with water, teething biscuits, and to try baby food! As you can see in the pictures we rushed home to try everything! Zooey has tried sweet potatoes, carrots, and squash and likes them all! Next, Daddy will begin preparing her food in our special baby food processor.

Our First Mommy's Day Together

We had a lovely day. First we ate at Red Robin and then we stopped by to see Grandma and Grandpa. Ben gave me flowers and chocolates and my one request...family stick figure decals for my rear window!

On Saturday, Lindsey enjoyed her last high school dance - Senior Prom. She went all out with this beautiful psychedelic gown. The handsome young fellow next to her is her boyfriend of two years. Zooey enjoyed a day of helping Lindsey get ready. She went to Chesterfield Mall to watch Lindsey get her hair and make-up done and enjoyed lunch at Bread Co. with MawMaw. As you can see in the picture in the top corner, Zooey was ready for the festivities to come to a close.

Busy As A Bee

Zooey has had a very busy few days and is looking forward to another busy weekend coming up. Last Friday she enjoyed her first Passover dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's where she got to visit with her friend Charlotte. Then on Sunday she had her first Easter at MawMaw's house - see her eyeing her bag of goodies. She tried to have her 5 month picture taken on Wednesday but it was too crowed so she will try again tomorrow. Zooey will then help aunt Lindsey prepare for Prom on Saturday by going to the mall to see Lindsey get her hair and make-up done. Last, but not least, she will then go to her very first formal social event - Mia's First Birthday Party!
