Look how comfy Zooey is in our bed. Every night she starts out in her bassinet located next to my side of the bed. She sleeps for about 1 - 1/2 hours peacefully in quiet sleep mode. Then she begins to wake and makes many noises. It makes for a long night when every 5-10 minutes I am looking over the side of the bassinet to see what's going on. Eventually she will begin to open her eyes to half slits. Then when I look she sees my face looming over the side which prompts her to fully open her eyes. After a few mintues of rocking and perhaps a small snack she then returns to bed, this time with me. She immediately falls alseep on our pillowtop mattress with me next to her. Mommy and Zooey can then sleep for a few hours and mommy feels best this way because I can hear her breathing.

Can you really blame her (or me)?

We are in the process of trying to convince Carli that next to Mommy or in the swing are not the only places to sleep...and she really does have a fantastic bed. :)
How stiff do you feel after getting up from sleeping w/ an infant?? I'm in desperate need of a chiropractor!
