Gotta Get That Lettuce
I cannot believe that my maternity leave is coming to an end. It seems like yesterday that it started. I look forward to seeing my students again, but will miss my Zooey more than anything. I have always been one of those girls that said I would want to work and have my career even after I had kids, but now I would love to be a stay at home mom. Thankfully Zooey will be able to stay home with Grandma and Daddy some of the time that I am at work. I'm sure we will get our schedule in order and everything will fall into place. Plus....the income and health insurance is a must; I cannot deny my baby that. However, I cannot lie....I have already started counting down to Spring Break.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder? Yeah not much to say to that, it sucks you have to go back to work Jess, but at least you have Papa Wheeler there with your baby! Ben will be an excellent stay at home daytime mom. Think of all the free music lessons she will get during the day :).
I hope your first day went well! Hang in there - Spring Break is just around the corner!
