ANTM

On Saturday, Lindsey enjoyed her last high school dance - Senior Prom. She went all out with this beautiful psychedelic gown. The handsome young fellow next to her is her boyfriend of two years. Zooey enjoyed a day of helping Lindsey get ready. She went to Chesterfield Mall to watch Lindsey get her hair and make-up done and enjoyed lunch at Bread Co. with MawMaw. As you can see in the picture in the top corner, Zooey was ready for the festivities to come to a close.

Busy As A Bee

Zooey has had a very busy few days and is looking forward to another busy weekend coming up. Last Friday she enjoyed her first Passover dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's where she got to visit with her friend Charlotte. Then on Sunday she had her first Easter at MawMaw's house - see her eyeing her bag of goodies. She tried to have her 5 month picture taken on Wednesday but it was too crowed so she will try again tomorrow. Zooey will then help aunt Lindsey prepare for Prom on Saturday by going to the mall to see Lindsey get her hair and make-up done. Last, but not least, she will then go to her very first formal social event - Mia's First Birthday Party!

What a GREAT Day!

Zooey is fortunate enough to have seven living great-grandparents. She has Nana and Papa and Meme and Papa from my side of the family and Grandma Pat, Grandma Marceda, and Grandpa Dave on Ben's side of the family. On Friday, Zooey's Meme and Papa came to Papy's (my dad's) house on Friday for a visit and some pizza. Zooey was such a sweet girl - relaxing on the sofa with her binky bee gazing lovingly at Meme while receiving a massage.

Exhaustion is a Blessing

Every month or so I work as an occupational therapist at a Pediatric Rehab facility. The babies and kids there have incredible needs and yet are so happy to play and can be so strong it's amazing. Some are lucky enough to have parents that can handle it and come to see them often, while others depend on the nurses and other staff to be their family. Today reinforced for me that I am blessed to have such a healthy baby and am thankful that my only tangible concern is getting more sleep.
